In order to make this a friendly and hospitable place for everyone, here are a few house rules:

1. You are encouraged to comment on anything you see here, whether you agree or disagree with either the topic or our perspectives. If you either hate or love something about this blog, feel free to tell us (especially the latter...not so much the former). We will not reject comments simply because of dissenting views. However, attempt to post anything obscene or in an uncivil manner and it will be rejected. Do it twice and you will be banned.

2. Comments must be accompanied by a name and valid email address. If you choose to use the "annonymous" commenting option, put the name and address in the body of the comment. You have our info, it's only fair we have yours. All purely annonymous commenters will be rejected.

3. Do not expect a response. We are very active bloggers in that we will often respond to a comment. We like conversation, but there may often be delays in approving comments or responding (we do have lives outside of this). Sometimes, though, for whatever reason we may choose to simply let yours stand and not respond (we don't always have to have the last word). Please don't be offended...it's not personal (unless you tanked us, then it might be personal).

4. Please keep comments on-topic.

5. If you're a troll, don't waste your time. Your comment will not make it through.

6. Perhaps most importantly, think twice before you hit the "submit" button. Many things are said in emotional responses that, later, we wish we'd never said. Once you submit your comment, it is said. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and make sure you will feel the same way later before you post your thoughts now.
