Which Church is 'King of the Hill'?

Social commentary on the modern mega-church via Fox's animated series, "The King of the Hill."

Tip-o'-the-hat to Alex Forrest.

Could this be any more of a stereotype? No wonder I have been cutting out the T.V. as of late.

I attend a megachurch. If you do it right, it is the greatest thing. I got a little worried when the church bought the tram for the parking lot, but it works good.

I have not attended to many churches that can attract people like Chuck Colson to come and speak. That is one nice thing about a bigger church, you are more likely to be exposed to other views. Not just attracting big names, but by virtue of having that many people attend the church.

No, it probably couldn't be more of a stereotype and there are positives along with negatives associated with megachurches. It is interesting, though, to see what many outside the church think of the church. Maybe we could learn something of how to better relate...and it may just make us re-evaluate what is important and what is not. Just maybe.
