Doing The Work

My brother just sent me this great photo. You'll probably have to click on the image for a bigger version, but read the patch under the American flag on his sleeve.

Great image! Totally true too. But is it me or does that image seem to be doctored? the American flag's color seems much different than the other 4 badges below it.

I have a feeling it probably is, Ben. You know how those pics usually are. But it's still pretty funny and in many ways, true. Not to say that I have anything particularly against those three countries. I'm no fan of their leadership, but I've found the people of all three of them to be very friendly and generally quite caring.

Hi David,

Great picture. My brother is going to Taji, Baghdad to bodyguard a Major. It's so great to be supportive of them! God bless you. Oh, just noticed that you're reading Total Truth. Just heard Nancy at Gutenburg college. Awesome! She is one of the sweetest wmoen I've met. Common Grounds is good, eh?

Perhaps, my friend from Cambridge, MA, but no more so than commenting anonymously.

Sorry, Julianne, I meant to respond to your comment as well. I finished Total Truth about two weeks ago...excellent work. I have met Nancy via email conversations and you are right...she seems to be a very warm and gracious person (not to mention, pretty darn smart.) I think you would enjoy Common Grounds.

And thanks to your brother for his service.
