Am I Slow?
OK, that was not an open invitation to 
speak to my intelligence. A friend told me that Espresso Roast has been loading very slowly on his computer, so I need to know if others are having similar problems. I'm trying to determine if there is a problem with the blog or if this was an isolated occurence. I have noticed that Blogrolling has sometimes slowed down page loads, but don't know if that is a continual problem.
If you don't mind, please give me feedback regarding the speed at which this blog loads on your computer. It will be a big help to me. Thanks!

I have noticed it too. I have DSL, and your page does load slower than nearly all the other similar sites. I may have a suggestion, based on my own experience at my own site. When I had my settings adjusted to post over 6 or 7 posts on the middle column, the whole thing would load slow, usually b/c it was trying to get all the off-screen pictures loaded up. So, I tweaked it to only put the last five posts on the "first page", and it uploads quickly now. I don't know if this will help, but then I never claimed tech-skills as a spiritual gift. At any rate, keep the posts good like you do, and the "eternal" 5-second wait will always be worth it.

Much Better! I'm on cable modem, normally quite zippy, and the other day your page wouldn't even load at all. Other times lately, it's loaded VERY slowly. Today it popped right up, so I think you may have nailed it!
