I have never read her books. However, I don't know that she is a loser because of her conversion. The article stated that she made an informed decision. She just didn't do it on a whim.

I think she has realized the 2 things all Christians realize prior to conversion: you can't live this life on your own and soon comes inevitable reckoning with God.

Yeah, Zoner, you're right. She's definitely not a loser because of any decision she has made (though I'm not sure at what level that commitment is).

I think lf might right in one respect, though (even if he doesn't realize it): She probably did realize she wasn't going to live forever and decided she wants to.
